Biography

Sam Vincent brings a wealth of basketball experience to Beacon College, having played professionally in the NBA and internationally. A former NBA player, Vincent’s journey took him from standout college athlete at Michigan State University to the professional stage with teams like the Boston Celtics, Seattle SuperSonics, and Chicago Bulls. Known for his leadership on the court, he later transitioned to coaching, where he developed a deep passion for mentoring young athletes.

At Beacon College, Coach Vincent is committed to fostering not only athletic excellence but also personal development. His coaching philosophy centers on discipline, teamwork, and cultivating a strong work ethic—values he believes are crucial for success both on and off the court.   • Standout player for the Michigan State Spartans, leading the team in scoring and earning All-Big Ten honors.
NBA Career:
  • Drafted in the 1st Round, 20th overall by the Boston Celtics in the 1985 NBA Draft.
